Can We Deliver Anywhere in the UK?
Yes. Our transport services cover the whole of the UK, from our depot in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, out to sites across every region. We regularly support projects in remote and hard-to-reach locations, including coastal and rural sites for the marine, offshore and renewable energy sectors, where reliable logistics matter just as much as the equipment itself.
You also have the option to collect test weights and cradles directly from our Rotherham depot if that suits your project timeline better. Either way, our own fleet and trusted transport partners mean we can plan delivery around your schedule, not the other way around.
How Much Weight Can We Deliver in One Load?
This depends on the vehicle and route, but with around 500 tonnes of cast steel test weights in stock — ranging from 56lb hand weights up to 7,400kg block weights — we’re set up to move large, high-capacity loads as well as smaller, precise configurations. Weights can be combined and stacked efficiently for transport, and our team will help you work out the right configuration and vehicle for your total load requirement, whether that’s a single hand weight or a full multi-tonne delivery.
If your project needs a larger load split across multiple deliveries, such as our 200 tonne test weight cradle project, we plan the logistics in advance so stacking and delivery stay efficient and on schedule.
How We Ensure Safety When Transporting Weights and Cradles
Moving cast steel weights safely takes more than just a suitable vehicle. Our process includes:
